Quilted Cotton Backpack

A lightweight quilted cotton backpack, hand stitched by artisans in and around Jaipur. The whole bag weighs about three quarters of a pound empty — a fraction of a conventional laptop backpack — so what you feel on your shoulders is what you packed, not the bag.

Wide, soft quilted straps spread the load and adjust with metal sliders. A flap-top main compartment opens to a striped cotton lining with an interior pocket, and there's a zip pocket on the outside for the things you reach for most.
